ABOUT ME

I’m Jennifer Polse Payne, MA., LMFT, LPCC, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Berkeley, CA. I am licensed in California and Oregon. I am here to create a safe and welcoming space to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I am also here for the lighter times, the times when we need to laugh and share the positive experiences in your lives.

I received my BA in Psychology and MA in Counseling Psychology from Humboldt State University. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2002. It is a passion of mine and I feel truly honored to do this work.

Since 2002, I have provided therapy and support to teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. I have had the pleasure of working at Holden High School in Orinda, CA since 2004. I am currently the Clinical Director supporting teens, their parents, staff, and training trainees and associates working towards licensure.
